US RECESSION STARTED DECEMBER 07

The National Bureau of Economic Research ( NBER ) just said that US economy entered in recession in December 2007.

The data shows that this recession is already the longest since 1982. 

In this world, were the "New Economy " paradigm, thought that recessions would never be DEEP again, has changed in a matter of months. 

NBER says that "if we are lucky " this recession will last until mid 2009. That means 16 months or more bringing the possibility to have the longest recession since The GREAT DEPRESSION ( 44 months).
